The magazine Chief Executive recently published their eighth-annual survey of the best and worst states in which to do business. 650 CEOs responded to the survey this year, which is up from 550 respondents in 2011. The "CEOs were asked to grade states in which they do business among a variety of areas, including tax and regulation, quality of workforce and living enviornment."

Lenders have been lending higher amounts lately, which may also be a factor in helping to end the housing crisis.
